ℹī¸How to guides

Create your personalized profile using the Dashboard

Step 1

Go to https://app.plurality.network

Step 2

Make sure you have MetaMask Flask installed in the browser. Here for Chrome. Here for Mozilla.

With the next release, this installation step of MetaMask Flask will be removed. Moreover, the sign-in with Google option will also be enabled.

Step 3

Sign in with MetaMask and accept the MetaMask popups.

Step 4

Once logged in to the dashboard, connect your Facebook and/or Twitter profiles.

More web2 platforms will be supported soon.

Step 5

After connecting a certain profile, you can press the view details button to see the details captured from your web2 profiles. The data is stored in encrypted format but when you press the View Details button, the data is encrypted using the secrets stored in your MetaMask.

Step 6

Go to Ceramic Data Explorer and copy and paste your DID to find the data streams against your address.

You can find your DID by writing did:pkh:eip155:1:0xyouraddress

Now, you can individually open your streams and view the stored encrypted content stored.

Connect to Plurality using the Widget on a dApp

For connecting to Plurality, going to dashboard first is not a must. You can also directly go to a dApp that has the Plurality widget integrated and then connect from there.

For testing out this flow, you can go to this example dApp and connect using the pink button in the mid.
